Double Degree Program FMIPA UGM-Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Kanazawa University, Japan

Announcement for prospective Master’s students in the Physics program at UGM regarding the opening of registration for the Double Degree Program (DDP) between FMIPA UGM and the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Kanazawa University Japan. Eligible students for this program are Master’s students from the Physics program, cohort 2023 February period or cohort 2024 August period, who have been accepted by the Directorate of Education and Teaching (DPP) UGM (proof of acceptance as a Master’s student can be submitted later).

The DDP is a Master’s program in Computational Science in collaboration between FMIPA UGM and the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Kanazawa University Japan. The program lasts for two academic years (including thesis completion) with one year of study at FMIPA UGM and the following year at Kanazawa University Japan. Upon completing the program, students will receive two degrees simultaneously: a Master’s degree in Physics from UGM and a Master’s degree in Computational Science from Kanazawa University Japan.

Scholarships are available in limited numbers for eligible students.

These scholarships are intended for FMIPA UGM Master’s students who entered through the SELF-FINANCING pathway.

INTERNAL APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR UGM PHYSICS: July 24, 2024, at 5:00 PM WIB

Students who pass the internal selection will be recommended to apply to Kanazawa University.
