Two Master’s Students of Physics UGM Serve as Oral Speakers at ICCMME 2026 in Tokyo, Japan

Yogyakarta — Two Master’s students from the Physics Study Program, Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Muhammad Rizki and Rafli Fandu Ramadhani, participated in the 11th International Conference on Composite Materials and Material Engineering (ICCMME 2026), held at Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo, Japan, from January 28 to 30, 2026.

During the international conference, both Muhammad Rizki and Rafli Fandu Ramadhani served as oral speakers, presenting their respective research findings to an international audience of academics and researchers. Master’s Students of Physics UGM Gain Valuable Experience at ICMAT 2025 and MLMI 2025 International Conferences

Two Master’s students of Physics at Universitas Gadjah Mada have brought pride to their alma mater through active participation in prestigious international conferences in 2025.

Arif Lukmantoro, a Master’s Physics student from the 2022 cohort and a research assistant in the CMD-spin research group of the Department of Physics, took part in the International Conference on Materials and its Advanced Technology (ICMAT 2025) held at the Suntec Singapore Convention Center from June 31 to July 4, 2025. Serving as a poster presenter, Arif showcased the results of his research conducted with his team, engaging in discussions with researchers and academics from around the world. This opportunity allowed him to gain constructive feedback, expand his collaborative network, and broaden his insights in the field of advanced materials and technology. read more

International Conference on Nanomaterials and Biomaterials 2023

Department of Physics UGM Proud!

Zurnansyah, a student of the UGM Physics Master’s program won the “Best Oral Presentation” award at the 7th International Conference on Nanomaterials and Biomaterials held in Chiang Mai, Thailand on November 22-24, 2023. Zurnansyah won the prestigious award through a presentation entitled “Microstructural and Optical Properties of Green-Synthesized rGO Utilizing Amaranthus Viridis Extract”.
